This department is the council’s internal engine, focusing on two key areas:
Human Resources:
- It ensures the council has the right staff through recruitment, training, and development.
- It manages all aspects of employee relations, including payroll, discipline, welfare, and grievances.
- It develops HR policies and ensures a safe and motivated workforce.
Administration:
- It coordinates council-wide activities and ensures efficient operations.
- It manages council assets, including vehicles and equipment.
- It handles all council meetings, ensuring accurate minutes and timely distribution.
- It oversees inventory, procurement, and strategic planning.
In short, it’s responsible for both the council’s people and its operational efficiency.
